Mr. Carol Smith was a genuine, caring, devoted man of valour. He was indeed a good example of a true servant of Jesus Christ.
To his family I would like to extend my sincere condolences. Aunty Sandra my prayers are with you all. I came to know Mr. Smith through Knowing you. May his soul rest on in peace. We will meet again. Christian never die, they only say goodbye.

Rev. Carol Smith was always light-hearted and pleasant. Always smiling and had a heart for the ministry of God. His greetings were always warm and reflected a deep genuineness. He would always have time for a quick word and was never too busy to be concerned about the persons around him. A true man of God who had a heart for persons he was called to shepherd.

Pastor Smith was a great friend and neighbour. I admired his skills in driving and would always watch him drive when he took us on trips. As neighbour, I would always take exotic fruits and vegetables from all over and ask him to plant them. I am still eating from the spinach that he planted near the fence.

I am grateful that from his life I have been encouraged to take time to laugh and care for others. He set that example.

Sis Sanny and family, you are special to me. I will always support you with prayer.

Sincere condolences to Sis Sandra and family. I am saddened to hear of the Passing of our beloved Pastor Carol Smith. I remember when I spent some time with the family in Bonham Spring over 28 years ago. Carol and Sandra were great hosts and took me all over on tours of the area. It was a pleasure to be a part of the family devotions as well as to bring a Word to the church then. May God comfort the family at this time. Again, condolences. RIP. Phillip

An immense part of who I am today, I owe to "Pastor" as he was affectionately called. Pastor Smith was always a force of encouragement in my life, I think my parents hit a jackpot when they got their pastor to also be their child's Godfather. No one could ever have gotten a more befitting role and he did an amazing job at it. In all his motivations I became Youth Fellowship president, Sunday School Teacher, apart of the choir and praise and worship team, and a host of regional and national participations. Though for every journey I was anxious because I never felt ready for such big posts, he was there for me every step of the way. But NOT just me, he was there for so many others. As young people of The Roadside Church Of God, I recall many occasions where he would encourage us to participate in every activity you could think of.... There's a rally near or far??? Roadside is there....There is a Regional event??? Roadside is there, There is a National event, Roadside is there. Roadside was always there because he was the fuel behind our presence. Quite literally too, many times as youths we were low on funds or just simply broke and that was never an excuse for us to not participate, because Pastor would use his vihicle or vihicles all at once to transport as many of us, who had the interest to participate. Then he would turn around and give us pocket money to buy food. Truly, he has 3 biological children but, he had many nonbiological. I'm not sure how Auntie Sannyand his children managed to share so much of him with us for so long. He was ever present in our lives and always wanted the best for our spiritual growth...Though I struggle at times, I'll always make my way back to the fold as his Godly guiding words are permanently etched in my heart. I AM GRATEFUL that Jehovah allowed such an awesome being to be a part of my life. YOU WILL BE GREATLY MISSED SIR 🌹❤️, but until we meet again by and by. Yolandie Baldie Your Goddaughter ❤️

The difficulty of the physical separation is a testament to the bond shared between loved ones. May the Lord comfort you during this time. We pray for supernatural strength.
"For since we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so, through Jesus, God will bring with him those who have fallen asleep."
1 Thessalonians 4:14 ESV

Pappa P was the best Pastor who dedicated his life serving the church, he committed himself to everything that was happening in our church and made sure that the commission of the Lord was actualized. Young people was a part of his daily basic plan. That morning just seeing the message change up all my day but as he will quote all the time " And we know that all thing work together for good to them that love God, to them who are called according to his purpose. Roman 8:28.
Man of God
Man of his Word
Man of Patience
Man of intelligence
He have impacted my life in so much and many way. Would need a book to detail all of my experience with Pastor.
Greatest of them all my Father
My motivator
My my one and only Daddy
